What is rosin?
Fresh Pressed Flower Rosin is made by pressing buds between two hot surfaces with considerable pressure (usually in a rosin press). For optimal retention of terpenes, a lower temperature is applied during extraction. This creates an extremely flavourful extract. After the flower is “squished,” it is separated from the secreted oils. This extraction process uses heat and pressure rather than solvents, hence the classification: “solventless extract.”
How should I store rosin?
Make sure to keep your FPF Rosin in an airtight container, out of sunlight to preserve its ideal state. For concentrate hardware items take a look through our For Concentrates collection or reach out to our customer service team.
How do I consume rosin?
Rosin is an extremely versatile concentrate: it can be used with a dab rig, vaporiser, or added to dried flower for an intensified consumption experience.
Is rosin considered a potent product?
Yes, our new FPF rosins are considered a high-THC product with 70-80% THC. It’s always recommended to

Resin: Hydrocarbon extractions- The most common hydrocarbons used today are butane and propane. These extractions include shatter, wax, budder or sap depending on the terpene and cannabinoid content as well as method of extraction and post-processing. Hydrocarbons are made by running the butane or propane solvent through the cannabis flower in a closed-loop system that does not allow the solvent to enter the air. The extracted oil is then purged in a purging oven, which removes the residual solvent. Live resin results from butane extracted flowers that were frozen fresh (uncured) before extraction.
